Text Description: Sample is from a 4x5m dense, dark gray, weakly banded lava block, ~50m upslope from 06AUKB002. Hand sample estimate of crystal distribution is very similar to 06AUKB002C. 7-10% plagioclase phenocrysts 2-5mm long; ~15% plagioclase <1mm long; ~15% clinopyroxene plus orthopyroxene <1-2mm; ~5% vesicles.
