Text Description: Hand-picked sample of the lighter portion of an angular, dense, 1.3x1x1 m banded block (darker portion is sample 06AUMC012b). This portion is sugary and equigranular, with a very crystalline texture and a salt and pepper color; appears intrusive-looking. Contact between the lighter and darker bands varies from sharp to gradational to irregular. Sample looks like a dense version of the "cinderblock".
