Text Description: Occurs within organic-rich, reworked loess in low-elevation area. The major-element glass composition reported here is the average of 14 samples: UA68, UA69, UA581, UA582, UT11, UT12, UT18, UT20, UT540, UT719, UT1056, UT1057, UT1059, UT1061. The trace-element glass composition reported is the average of 8 samples: UT11, UT12, UT20, UT540, UT719, UT1056, UT1059, UT1061. Type I beds have a low crystal content, bubble-wall shards, pumice with large vesicles, glass spheres, and, in some cases, small amounts of brown glass. Feldspar, orthopyroxene, and clinopyroxene are abundant with minor or trace amounts of amphibole, magnetite, ilmenite, apatite, zircon, and biotite
