Location description: Core collected from a modular raft using a Livingstone piston corer. 5.3 m-long core extracted from 10.19 m of water near the northeastern end of informally named 'Bonsai' lake on Baker Island, located in southeast Alaska's Alexander Archipelageo. The lake is located in a granitic glacial valley with steep slopes on the northwest and southeast sides where there is evidence of recent landslides. The lake is in a closed catchment and is bedrock dammed, with a maximum depth of 27 m. Coordinates not provided, location imprecisely georeferenced from figure 2.2.
