Location description: Cabin Lake is a small, shallow lake (0.1 km square; 4.8 m in depth) located at the base of the Chugach Mountains at an elevation of 40 m asl. The lake is about 16 km east of Cordova, Alaska, in the eastern Prince William Sound, and 5 km west of the terminus of Sheridan Glacier. It is located on the northern edge of the present-day outwash plain of Sheridan Glacier and does not currently receive meltwater from the glacier. Location imprecisely georeferenced from Figure 1 of Zander and others (2013).
