Text Description: Massive sample of Dome I. Phenocrysts of plagioclase, hypersthene, augite, olivine, and Fe-Ti oxide in a holocrystalline groundmass of plagioclase microlites, Fe-Ti oxides, and minor pyroxenes. Olivine contains Cr-spinel, is slightly altered along fractures, and is either surrounded by a faint zone of dusty alteration or by a reaction rim of pyroxene+plagioclase+Fe-Ti oxide.
