Text Description: Lower Pumice 3-20cm thick lapilli layer, consisting of well-sorted, brown-beige pumice fragments and abundant smaller lithic fragments (23 wt% of layer). The accidental lithic ejecta of PL consist almost entirely of black, dense, vitric material.
