Juvenile clast type: brown (less dense, slightly more vesicular clasts) and tan (pumice-like clasts, yet still poorly vesiculated). Remarks: 1953 Crater Peak tephra. Munsell color-wet: 5YR 2/2. Munsell color-dry: 5Y 6/1. Grain shape: angular. Age: 1953.
