Text Description: Occurs within organic-rich, reworked loess in low-elevation area. The composition reported here is the average of three samples: UT105, UT106, UT107. Type II beds have more crystals than type I beds, and the glass is mainly in the form of highly inflated pumice. Feldspar, orthopyroxene, and green amphibole are common with minor or trace amounts of red amphibole, clinopyroxene, iron-titanium oxides, apatite, and zircon.
