Text Description: Average calculated from analyses of five individual samples from five different locations (see individual samples for description): individual samples 96JF8B, 96JF210A, 97EC16C, 97EC13B, 97EC12A (see Figure 14a in Carson 1998). Light-brown coarse rhyodacitic ash that is >1mm in diameter and comprises a 2-3 cm thick unit. The deposit is thinly bedded and sharply bounded at the top and bottom.
