Text Description: 7 cm of strong brown silt/yellowish brown dense clay. BSE images (Fig. 11c in Carson 1998) showed heavily crystallized glass fragments in a matrix of lithics. The glass fragments were analyzed to have a basaltic composition, although with the extreme devitrification the average composition is suspect. Carson (1998) Appendix A (page 124) says Sample G contained no vitreous material.
