Tephra KF, found in the eastern and northern region of the island, is xposed in eight stratigraphic sections (Tannenbaum_1996_PP-02, Tannenbaum_1996_KB-01, Tannenbaum_1996_KB-02, Tannenbaum_1996_KB-03, Tannenbaum_1996_CL-02, Tannenbaum_1996_CL-03, Tannenbaum_1996_OB-04, & Tannenbaum_1996_OB-05). Tephra KF is yellow-orange in color with an average thickness of 7 cm. In section Tannenbaum_1996_OB-04, tephra KF is stratigraphically 4 cm above tephra KE which has a minimum age of 5090 +/- 80 yr BP.
