Text Description: Sample from base of 700-foot high cliff of lavas 6.6 km north northeast of Mt. Spurr summit. Sample 85CNS26 of Nye and Turner (1990). Lowermost accessible flow. 5300'. Lowest flow overlying thin gneissic or veined granite overlying more massive intrusive. Columnar basalt.
