Larger of two maar crater lakes in Aniakchak caldera.  View north from the inlet stream across the incised delta of sediments and the maar lake.  The lake partially and catastrophically drained in late summer 2010 when a breach developed in the north crater rim/wall.  See image 57651 for close-up of the breach.  The lake level dropped at least 4.65 m during the flood event.
