Main pool at Shrub mud volcano, Klawasi Group. View is to the north. Temperature of main pool was 26.2°C. New vents located on, and behind the east rim (right in this image) are discharging hot, saline, muddy water down the northeast wall of pool (gray area to right of helicopter). Temperatures ranged from 49.9C to 54.2°C. This represents an increase in heat flux since our last visit in 2019, when all summit activity was confined to the main pool and maximum temperature was 34.9°C.
