Panorama of the larger of two lake-filled maar craters in Aniakchak. This maar partially drained--water level dropping about 4.65 m--sending a massive flood down a drainage along the eastern caldera wall that flowed into the Aniakchak River and altered its channel and bars for at least several miles downstream.
