Turquoise cone, looking to the south. In the foreground is the western caldera lake, and the snow-crested ridge in the middle distance is the southern caldera rim. The collapse of Turquoise Cone removed more than half of the original stratocone, based on extrapolation of deposits in the existing edifice.
