Photo showing the northeastern flanks of Okmok, looking towards Cape Idak to the northeast. Compared with early August, this photo shows that a significant amount of ash on the flanks of the volcano is washing down into the grass, and washing down the stream channels, into the Bering sea and Pacific Ocean.
