Alaska Volcano Observatory

A stream cuts into large, terraced platforms in Bishop Valley, northeast of Makushin Volcano. A pre-existing glacial valley was filled with a thick sequence of Holocene pyroclastic flows, surges, and fall deposits. View is from the north.
