Location description: Gravel pit exposure approximately 1 km west (along the road) from Caribou Creek 1 station. Located on the highest glaciofluvial terrace in the area, approximately 200 m above the Pelly River and ~80 m higher than Caribou Creek 1 station, it comprises three stratigraphic units. Upper surface of the section gently slopes south < 5 degrees. Datum not specified, assumed to be NAD83.
