Location description: Along Bonanza Creek, Yukon Territory, Canada. Site 18 of Preece et al. (2000). 1 m thick silty clay overbank sediments overlying 1 m thick gravel resting on a well developed strath terrace (Archibald's Bench) at 37–42 m above Bonanza Creek, on the right bank, about 8 km upstream from the confluence with the Klondike River. Overbank sediments are overlain by 10 m of gravel. Section was destroyed during placer mining operations.
