Location description:	Gold Bottom Creek, Yukon Territory, Canada. From Preece et al. (2000): strip cut prepared for placer mining. Section no longer exists. Measuring from creek level, there is 9.4 m of slumped material; 0.35 m of rust-stained sand and gravel are overlain by 1.2 m of dark grey clay and silt; silt is overlain by whitish tephra bed containing twigs; an additional 2.7 m of greyish clay and silt overlies the tephra bed. The section is capped by 0.2-0.3 m of moss and forest litter. Coordinates from Preece et al. (2011). Datum not specified, assumed to be NAD83.
