Alaska Volcano Observatory

The single largest continuous stratigraphic section exposed on Mt. Wrangell holds up the ridge immediately north of the Chetaslina Glacier. Samples 79cne01-79cne29 are superposed flows collected from altitudes between 4500 and 7500 ft. on a spur off the larger ridge. * * * Larger numbers are further upsection.
