Text Description: 82ARj112: 18cm mottled pale gy & or, f to vf ash; slightly lam at top w/ tr horiz org partings. | Samp A (lahar?): 37cm drab bn matrix w/ pale yell & buff pum lap to 2cm. Poorly sorted, slightly graded upwards. Matrix f sand, 70%. | B at top, C at bottom: ~1m poorly sorted, pale or-bn ash-flow tuff. Pale yell pum lap to 8cm concentrated at top, subang. Matrix = f sand, est. 40-50%. Black lithics to 1/2cm, ~10% at top and to 1cm, ~25% at bottom. Lithics increase downwards, pum upwards. | D: ~1m pale yell pum lapilli, subang-subround, to 25cm. Loose, few fines. | E (lahar?) 73%,gl: ~10m poorly sorted (bimodal?) pale yell pum lap to 10-12cm, with pale pink-grey matrix ~40%. No obvious grading or bedding, but exposure limited to shovel scrapes. | Although poor exposure, don't believe any lapilli desposits on either nob (headland) adjacent to station.
