Text Description: Undifferentiated intrusive dacite and associated breccias - intrusive bodies consist of light- to medium-gray porphyritic dacite containing phenocrysts of brown and green hornblende with strongly oxidized rims, saussuritized plagioclase, and, locally, resorbed hypersthene in a spherulitic to felty matrix. Associated breccias are massive, brownish-gray, reddish-brown, and mauve rocks containing rounded to angular clasts of porphyritic dacite, similar to that of intrusive bodies, and andesite in an altered dark turbid matrix.
