Text Description: Ash Flow and Pumice Deposits from Mount Wrangell or Mount Drum. Semi-indurated rocks are light gray and consist of unsorted blocks, pumice, and ash of hornblende dacite generally overlying finer grained and stratified airfall beds of same composition. Upper 20 m of deposit (sec. 8, 16, 17, T. 3 N., R. 5 E.) is moderately welded, forming bold light-gray cliffs with weakly developed columnar joints.
