Text Description: Platy and rubbly flow at least 10’ thick. Fine grained, holocrystalline, weakly porphyritic with a matrix of opaque, alteration, plagioclase, mesostasis and orthopyroxene. Plagioclase phenocrysts (An38 - An55) are up to 0.6 mm and most are laths. An altered phase, olivine?, that is now opaques and red alteration. Orthopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 0.1 mm and have clinopyroxene rims. Opaque phenocrysts are up to 0.2 mm (not including opaque in altered phase).
