Text Description: A dike 2-4’ thick, trending N75°E and subvertical, cutting thorough intercaldera flows just below the main peak at Tanada Peak. Fine grained, vesicular, holocrystalline, seriate to glomeroporphyritic with a matrix of mesostasis, opaque, plagioclase and clinopyroxene. Plagioclase phenocrysts (An34 - An64) are up to 4.0 mm and occasionally display sieve textured zones, rounded rims, and/or oscillatory zoning. Clinopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 0.75 mm. Orthopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 0.9 mm and many are altered.
