Text Description: Downdropped block from surrounding cliffs. Fine grained, holocrystalline, seriate porphyritic with a matrix of mesostasis, opaque, feldspar, alteration and an altered phase. Plagioclase phenocrysts (An36 - An53) are up to 2.87 mm and some have oscillatory zoning, altered melt inclusions, sieve textured zones, and rounded rims. An altered phase, orthopyroxene?, is up to 1.2 mm and is sometimes rimmed with clinopyroxene. Clinopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 1.87 and some have resorbed rims and/or opaque inclusions. Opaque phenocrysts are up to 0.4 mm.
