Text Description:	Agglutinated material forming walls or spatter ramparts. Sample is from more massive material. This is a grab sample from the center of the SCVC. Fine grained, holocrystalline, trachytic, seriate porphyritic with a matrix of mesostasis, opaque, plagioclase, alteration and clinopyroxene?. Plagioclase phenocrysts (An37 - An55) are up to 3.0 mm, occasionally sieve textured, and occasionally have clinopyroxene inclusions. Orthopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 0.7 mm. Clinopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 0.4 mm. An altered phase is present.
