Text Description:	An approximately 20’ thick flow at Site 4. Fine-grained, holocrystalline, intergranular, seriate porphyritic with a matrix of mesostasis, opaque, plagioclase and alteration. Plagioclase phenocrysts (An38 - An62) are up to 1.1 mm and some have sieve textured cores or intermediate zones; complex zoning is present. Orthopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 0.85 mm and some have clinopyroxene rims or opaque inclusions. Clinopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 0.15 mm.
