Text Description: Bomb from the remnants of a cinder cone at Gutbuster. Overlies 94SJP62.Fine grained, vesicular, holocrystalline, trachytic, porphyritic with a matrix of mesostasis, opaque, and plagioclase. Plagioclase phenocrysts (An43-An55) are up to 1.0 mm and occasionally have oscillatory zoning. Olivine phenocrysts are up to 2.12 mm and occasionally have skeletal habit. Clinopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 0.35 mm and are strained with undulatory extinction and bent cleavage planes.
