Text Description:	At least a 20' thick flow. Lowest sample from South Pass. Fine grained, vesicular, hypocrystalline, intersertal, intergranular, seriate porphyritic with a matrix of brown glass, opaque, clinopyroxene, plagioclase, and orthopyroxene?. Plagioclase phenocrysts (An43-An59) are up to 1.25 mm and occasionally have sieve textured zones or oscillatory zoning. Orthopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 1.0 mm, some have clinopyroxene rims.
