Text Description:	Dipping, 50-60' thick flow that forms a wall-like outcrop on the lower slopes at Site 12 and overlies 94SJP6 (sBA3). Fine grained, holocrystalline, intergranular, seriate porphyritic with a matrix of phenocrysts (An30-An40, 1 grain An73) are up to 0.5 mm. Orthopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 1.45 mm. An altered phase, olivine? , up to 0.9 mm, is present. Mode: 74% matrix, 19.9% plagioclase, 0.2% orthopyroxene, 5.7% altered phase, 0.2% alteration.
