Text Description: Outcrop of 10-25' thick basaltic andesite flows on the east side of Goat Creek. Fine grained, holocrystalline, seriate porphyritic with a matrix of mesostasis, opaque, olivine, plagioclase, and pyroxene. Plagioclase phenocrysts (An38-An59) are up to 1.5 mm, and occasionally have sieve textured zones, normal zoning, and rounded or resorbed rims. Olivine phenocrysts are up to 0.37 mm, and are slightly altered. Orthopyroxene are up to 0.8 mm.
