Text Description: Approximately 50' thick flow from Tanada Cinder Cone near the east end of the Mesa at Site 15. Fine grained, vesicular, holocrystalline, porphyritic with a matrix of mesostasis, opaque, plagioclase, pyroxene? and olivine. Plagioclase phenocrysts are up to 0.32 mm and most are small laths. Olivine phenocrysts are up to 0.75 and occasionally are skeletal. Orthopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 0.22 mm.
