Text Description:	25-30 foot thick flow at the base of Site 12. Directly overlies 94SJP2 dipping at N60E, 45W. Fine grained, holocrystalline, trachytic, intergranular, seriate porphyritic with a matrix of green alteration, plagioclase, opaques, and clinopyroxene. Plagioclase phenocrysts (An40-An58) are up to 2 mm and some of the largest grains are zoned and riddled with alteration and clinopyroxene inclusions. Clinopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 0.25 mm. An altered phase is present (olivine?).
