Text Description: Dike cutting through vent scoria of a small cinder cone. Dike is light gray, sheeted, strikes N25E, dips 70N, and is 4-5' thick. Fine grained, holocrystalline, trachytic, oxidized with a matrix of opaque, alteration, plagioclase, and clinopyroxene?. Plagioclase phenocrysts (An47) are up to 0.75 mm, and mostly occur as small laths; larger grains may have oscillatory zoning. Opaque phenocrysts are up to 0.2 mm. Clinopyroxene phenocrysts are up to 0.3 mm and oxidized.
