Wrangell Lava. Border volcanic and volcaniclastics. Volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks, undifferentiated (Tertiary) - Sequence of interlayered flows and lahars, chiefly of andesitic composition (57.6% - 60.3% SiO2, map nos. 23, and 24), and, locally, volcanic gravel and conglomerate. Upper part of unit overlies the dacite dome field and associated rocks (unit Tdh), but lower part of unit appears to be intruded by dacite porphyry (unit Tdh), hence may include rocks of the older Rocker Creek lavas (unit Trl) |
