Text Description: Undifferentiated Intrusive Dacite and Associated Breccias. Intrusive bodies consist of light- to medium-gray porphyritic dacite containing phenocrysts of brown and green hornblende with strongly oxidized rims, saussuritized plagioclase, and, locally, resorbed hypersthene in a spherulitic to felty matrix. Associated breccias are massive, brownish gray, reddish brown, and mauve rocks containing rounded to angular clasts of porphyritic dacite, similar to that of intrusive bodies, and andesite in an altered dark turbid matrix.
