Text Description: | grey-blue mud to 2 m above river level (and >1m below); laminated. Includes widely scattered large pumice clasts and scattered small pumices (<1 cm). All well rounded; overlain by stratified section of pumiceous debris flows and bedded sand, then by orange mud. All overlain by stratified pumice-rich stream alluvium. No primary ignimbrite seen. Exposed thickness ~4m. No lithics seen. Pumice clasts are light-colored dacite. |
