Text Description: | Primary coarse, non-graded, lithic-rich dacite lapilli fall; rests on 13-16 cm of lavender-gy mud. It is overlain by ~50 cm soil. Fallout includes a lot of rusty-orange sand and some silt in-filling interstices. Exposed thickness: 25 cm. See text for MP and ML. Pumice clasts: buff and grey clasts with very few pxn-clot blebs. Lithic clasts: mostly grey crystal-rich dacite lava clasts (commonly pumiceous dome carapace), and minor very altered lava clasts; many 0.5-cm lithics. |
