Text Description: | Kaguyak Ignimbrite. Sandy, very fines-poor ignimbrite with several PCZ's. May be slightly syneruptive slope-modified. Overlies lithic-rich fall; orange-brown ferrocreted slabs of ignimbrite 10-40 cm thick suggest primary (fumarolically altered) ignimbrite top is partly preserved here. Estimated thickness 7 m. PCZs, yes. Pumice clasts: white pumice with large pxn-clot blebs. |
