Text Description: Kaguyak Ignimbrite. Dark grey-brown ignimbrite with a sandy matrix and abundant small dacite pumice clasts; includes at least one PCZ in upper part of the section; Conspicuous 2-m-thick LCZ near top of section (same as Y-125 LCZ). Ignimbrite+underlying fallout rest on Big Breccia deposit. Exposed thickness: 12 m. PCZs: one well-developed and several faint ones. See text for MP and ML. Pumice clasts: white pumice, coarsely vesicular, many large pxn-clot blebs. Lithic clasts: all lithics are andesite-dacite lava clasts; many have orange-brown alteration rinds.
