Text Description: | Kaguyak Ignimbrite: primary brown-grey, sandy, unstratified ignimbrite (pale grey when dry); Ignimbrite is very pumice-rich (abundant 1-3 cm pumice) and lithic-rich (abundant 0.5 to 1-cm lava clasts); Overlain by 1-1.5 m bouldery river alluvium. Exposed thickness ~2.5 m. no PCZ or LCZ. See text for MP and ML. Pumice clasts: white dacite most common, with minor scoria; tend to have few pxn-clot blebs; all analyze as dacites (64-65% SiO2).
