Text Description: Kaguyak Ignimbrite: lavender-grey massive ignimbrite in lower 5-10 m of exposure; generally very clast-rich (typically pumice clasts are <5 cm) with many small lithics (0.5-2 cm); 8 PCZ's seen in the upper part of the section; overlain by ~8 m stratified pumice+crystal-rich sediments (ochre orange altered). Exposed thickness ~20m. 8 PCZs: 0.3-2m. LCZ: 0.3-2 m. See text for MP and ML. Pumice clasts: in addition to light-colored pumice are many banded pumices (dark and light), as well as minor scoria. Lithic clasts: dacite lava clasts.
