Text Description: Hly - Lava Point younger lava flow. Massive flow, locally more than 20 m thick, with well-preserved blocky rubble surface. Rock is a medium dark gray, porphyritic andesite (56.8% SiO2) containing phenocrysts of plagioclase (10-15%, 3-4 mm), clinopyroxene (1-4%, 2 mm), and olivine (trace - 1%, 1 mm) in a cryptocrystalline groundmass.
