Text Description: Bluish-white (5B 9/1), vesicular, glassy hornblende dacite (S; high-silica andesite G). Phenocryst phases are plagioclase (An 64) and hornblende. Hornblende has abundant included opaque oxides. Abundant glass in groundmass, commonly in frothy pockets, showing little devitrification. Dome associated with Blue Mountain volcanic center.
