| Text Description: | 3 m thick unit, normally graded like others but top 2.5 m is pinkish hue. Whole unit is more oxidized than others. Grain size is smaller overall, max pumice to 6.5, 7, 7, 7, 7.5, 7.5 cm. Lithics are 1%, many oxidized to rust, size to 4.5, 5.5, 8.5, 9, 10 cm. Sampled as H. Note shattered/fractured and altered blocks at top of unit, 70x35 cm, 50x35 cm, with thick oxidized halos around block. Hot bomb emplacement? |
