| Text Description: | 1 m thick unit of poorly sorted pumice bombs to coarse ash. Coarser pumice are in 2 bands midway through layer. Pumice are subangular to subrounded. Pink hue. 2% lithics, lithics are 50% yellow-brown altered bits with less lava lithic grains than lower unit. Lithics up to 5, 5, 9, 10, 10 cm. Max pumice size up to 15 cm. Top 1 cm of unit grades to more uniform medium ash. |
